Aaron joined the O’Donnellan & Joyce team in 2017 for what was to be a short stint of work experience as part of his B.Comm degree. After getting his foot in the door where he showcased his technology and innovative skills, a few brief conversation with the company directors and NUI Galway turned the 3 month placement into an 18 month full time role.

During this time, Aaron was exposed to all aspects of the business from sales negotiation to lettings and management, marketing, auctions and accounting. He brought his previous experiences to the team and took it upon himself to improve some of the in-house processes as well as implementing some new marketing techniques.

In late 2018, he returned to NUI Galway to complete his B.Comm. but before graduating, he was invited back into the company with the offer of a full time marketing position. After a short sailing holiday post-graduation, he assumed the new role within the company as Marketing Executive and since then, has been solely responsible for all aspects of the company advertising.

Over the past 3 years, Aaron has been responsible for continuously upgrading the O’Donnellan & Joyce auction bidding platform, implementing a new in house CRM system, project managing the build of the new company website and keeping up to date with changing market trends and appropriately brining the business in line with the change in customer needs.

Aaron is also studying in Technological University of Dublin (TUD) where he will soon graduate and be eligible to apply for a PSRA license which will enable him to promote to a sales role.
