Niamh joined the team in O’Donnellan & Joyce in 2023 as a sales negotiator and property valuer. Having previously studied in University of Galway and completing a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree specialising in Economics, as well as a Dioplóma sa Ghaeilge and studying in The Spanish Institute in Galway.

After graduating from University of Galway in 2021, Niamh decided to follow her love for all things property, and she joined Yvonne Sweeney Auctioneers & Valuers Ltd to complete her Apprenticeship in Property Services and Auctioneering. Here, she spent two years gaining experience in different parts of the property industry, assisting the agents with property sales, valuations and the rental department. Niamh also worked as an office administrator where she gained an abundance of interpersonal and people skills.  After two years, she secured her property licence in all four categories and is now a full member of Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV).

After two years completing her apprenticeship, Niamh further advanced her skills when joining the Sherry Fitzgerald Galway team as a Property Agent. She gained experience coordinating tenancies and assisted both landlords and tenants with any queries or maintenance issues.

Niamh now primarily works alongside Shane McDonagh assisting with both residential and commercial valuations.
